Raise Awareness

  • Leave resource drop cards in public restrooms!

  • Share posters with your pastor for the back of your church.

  • Share information about state Paid Family Leave with your company or a breastfeeding mom you know.

  • Share information about the Title IX rights of pregnant and parenting students with college students you know

  • Share information about lactation rights with your company or a breastfeeding mom you know.

Serve

  • Say “Congratulations!” every time someone tells you she’s pregnant. She needs to hear your excitement, that you won’t step back, that you’re going to be here with her.

  • Add the Pregnancy Help phone number to your phone contacts: 1-877-398-7734

  • Send an encouraging card to a pregnant mom or mom of a newborn.

  • Donate to our rental assistance and motel voucher fund through Catholic Charities.

  • Donate to your local pregnancy resource center or maternity home.

  • Create a MealTrain and cook and deliver dinner for a new mother.

  • Babysit for a mom in your church.

  • Drive a pregnant mom or mom with small kids to doctor’s appointments.

  • Throw a baby shower for moms in your church.

  • Donate hotel points to your local pregnancy center for homeless moms.

  • Consider opening your spare bedroom for a pregnant mom.

  • Donate needed items to foster youth.

  • Join Walking with Moms in Need, Gabriel Project, or St. Vincent de Paul Conference at your church

  • Provide respite care for foster families.

  • Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate or a foster family.

  • Donate breastmilk or help local families find formula

  • Share Women Deserve Better with a working mom or student mom you know
